So I /was/ on my way to argentina, then i found out that continental overbooked the flight, soooo i'm stuck in houston until 9pm tomorrow, with a cell phone that's about to die, an generally not the best mood, thankfully im able to get interweb in the hotel room, so i have some connection to the outside world |

since i'm a lazy bum, i haven't actually posted this yet, but i got a new truck, 99 Dodge Dakota, it's a nice truck, has the big front bumper, and oversized tires and aftermarket suspension

my truck is dead!, spun out on mopac, hit a concrete barrier, i'm uninjured, but the truck is almost definetly totaled, on the otherhand, i'm gonna try and get my mum to let me move the bike up here so i have transportation |

So if anyone was wondering (or caring) why i have been offline, i'm in Oklahoma, at my Grandmas (blech not just dial-up, Juno dial-up)
However, that does mean i have been doing fun stuff like making the four-wheeler fly, and digging out ponds with backhoes and such like. Unfortunately there is a burn ban in effect and so we can't do our usual new years/x-mas tradition of a gigantic bonfire :(
We'll be driving back down sunday so i'll be back in town (and online)sunday evening

Some piece of fei-oo broke into my mom's work truck last night and took her (nearly empty) briefcase, unfortunately they saw mine and got into my toolbox, and took /ALL/ my tools, my emergency kit, and my SAR 24hr pack, thankfully they didn't break into my cab or anything (so i still have my inverters and my stereo)
